September was another exciting month for our guests on myley tours, packed with new adventures. From strolls through beautiful gardens, to the awe-inspiring architecture of cathedrals, there was something for every interest. Guests enjoyed visits to museums, whilst others spent time in nature at wildlife and safari parks. At myley, we’re proud to be part of this important global movement by offering outdoor tours that enhance the lives of those living with dementia. • Since January, 1,021 residents with dementia have taken part in a tour with Myley. • 49.2% of residents who take part in a tour with Myley are living with dementia. Research shows that time spent outdoors can improve cognitive function, mood, and physical health for people living with dementia. Our tours are specifically designed to create safe, enriching experiences that foster joy, connection, and well-being. August was an eventful month for our guests on myley tours, filled with exciting trips and memorable experiences. From exploring beautiful gardens and parks to visiting fascinating museums and historical landmarks, it was a time of discovery and enjoyment for all. Whether taking peaceful boat trips, enjoying scenic countryside views, or indulging in delightful café stops, August offered something special for everyone.
