N3B was excited to participate in this year’s Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet, a fun and highly anticipated event for Los Alamos and surrounding communities. A special thank you to Laci Taylor and Eli Gerlach who volunteered their time to represent N3B and hand out candy to eager trick-or-treaters. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth!

Our T2S Groundwater and Surface Water Teams spent four days and three nights on the 2024 annual White Rock Canyon float trip down the Rio Grande, sampling approximately 13 reaches, 20 springs and base flows. The team collected over 100 water and sediment samples as part of confirmatory sampling, ensuring that springs and base flows discharging into the river are free from potential contaminants from historical operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Great work, team, protecting Northern New Mexico’s water quality!
