Yesterday, as part of NACD’s Conservation Forum & Tours, we toured three urban sites in Boston illustrating how urban areas interact with agriculture and conservation. Thanks to the Mystic River Watershed Association for giving us a rundown on urban watershed conservation and recreation and the Urban Farming Institute of Boston (UFI) and The Food Project for showing us how urban and suburban farmland in Massachusetts can provide food to help provide access to fresh, healthy food for all! #NACDSummerMeeting #NACD2024 #ConservationIsRevolutionary

This campfire chat had us fired up for conservation today! 🔥 Thank you to David W. Cash, regional administrator for the U.S. EPA - New England Region, Martha Craig Program Manager of Cape Cod Conservation District, and Massachusetts Climate Chief Melissa Hoffer for joining us today for NACD’s Conservation Forum and sharing your thoughts on water quality and climate resilience in the Northeast Region. Projects like the Cape Cod Water Resources Restoration Projects and other partner projects will inspire other conservation districts across the nation to bring their own unique skills to develop and "unleash the power of partnerships." #NACDSummerMeeting #NACD2024 #ConservationIsRevolutionary
