NACD's very own Elizabeth Washington will be a panelist for WMU's Beauregard Excellence in Women's Sports: Evening of Empowerment! This evening promises an enriching experience for our student-athletes to engage with professionals in their respective fields, connect with women from the local community, and gain inspiration from influential leaders within the WMU community. This event takes place on Tuesday, March 19th at the Radisson Plaza Hotel. More info can be found here: https://lnkd.in/exc-cdQ9

NACD was privileged to host Senator Sarah Anthony, the first black woman appointed Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee in Michigan's history. We'd like to thank Michigan Senator Sean McCann of District 19 for including NACD in their itinerary. We appreciated the opportunity to share our efforts in advancing affordable housing initiatives on the Northside.
