New Affiliation Announcement! "NAHMMA is excited to announce our partnership with Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and the expanded opportunities for our members. As associations which support professionals who operate environmentally safe and easily accessible collection facilities across North America, we have many goals which align, including the proper recycling and management of hazardous materials and batteries. We look forward to working together to provide our members with tools that enhance their skill sets and deliver value for their employers and customers." Kenneth Miller, President NAHMMA Board of Directors “We are excited about this partnership with NAHMMA. Our associations have many shared goals and are well-positioned to support one another’s work. NAHMMA’s focus on hazardous materials complements SWANA’s efforts to support the safe collection and management of these materials. We look forward to enhanced collaboration on topics such as Lithium-Ion Battery management, a key focus area for both NAHMMA and SWANA.” Amy Lestition Burke, MA, FASAE, CAE Burke, Executive Director/CEO of SWANA Learn about this new affiliation and our other affiliations at https://lnkd.in/eXQQviaf
