On Sept. 5–6, National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Members and staff participated in the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR) 17th Annual International Insurance Regulatory Dialogue, which gathered over 60 policymakers and industry stakeholders for two days of discussions on key issues facing the insurance and reinsurance industries. On his panel, NAIC President and Connecticut Insurance Department Commissioner Andrew N. Mais provided insights into the strength (and challenges) of the U.S. reinsurance market.
