November is Native American Heritage Month. At NASW-MA we remember the rich cultures of Indigenous tribes and celebrate their contributions to the Commonwealth. Social work practice is highly influenced by Indigenous ways of thinking and connecting. Creating genuine relationships with our communities, understanding our neighbors' experiences, and forming strong bonds with intimate connections drive social change.

    • Honor the people who occupied the land before you. Remember the rich cultures of Indigenous tribes and celebrate their contributions to the Commonwealth.
    • MA Groups to support: Massachusetts Center for Native American Awareness, North American Indian Center of Boston, Institute for New England Native American Studies.
