August is #CivicHealthMonth! For social workers, it's essential to advocate for social justice, empower communities, and influence positive change. Civic engagement is about making your voice heard and taking action to shape the community and policies around you. By getting involved in civic activities, we can ensure that the needs of our clients and communities are represented and addressed. This August, especially as we move into the 2024 General Election, our NJ chapter recognizes the importance of civic engagement. Coming together around the state, around the country, and right here on this page, we hope to reach communities working together or individuals working alone in both political and non-political actions to protect public values or make a change in a community. We hope you will join us in promoting civic health and making a difference! Keep up to date with our efforts at: https://bit.ly/4frPigv
