May Employee Spotlight: Dana Moore has been with NBS for 2 years in our Accounting Department as an Account Rep. Dana works closely with our Members and acts as a support liaison between our Members and Vendor Partners for any accounting, billing, and invoicing needs. We asked Dana the following question. April Employee Spotlight: This month, we are highlighting NBS President, Jim Chandley! Jim has been with NBS for 27 years. We asked Jim the following question. Q: What is your favorite part about working with NBS Members? A: The most fulfilling part of working with our Membership is seeing the ways we help them to compete in this tough environment. Our Members take advantage of the relationship/networking opportunities that our Markets provide, and our buying power enables us to get them great deals on products they would possibly not be able to get on their own. In addition, we help elevate them from a single operation in the eyes of the vendors to being part of a much larger organization, which in turn makes them significantly more important. March Employee Spotlight: Cole Airheart has been with NBS for almost 3 years and is the Senior Category Manager for the Fishing and Shooting Accessories Categories. Cole is responsible for managing current and prospective Vendor relationships and helps facilitate buying opportunities for the Members through the NBS Marketplace, Pre-Book Programs, and Market buying events. Throughout the year, he works with a committee of members to identify exclusive items from our partners and offers insight into current market conditions. We asked Cole the following question. Q: What is your favorite part about working with NBS? A: What I love most about working for NBS, is being able to serve both Members and Vendors alike.
