As Hurricane Milton slammed Florida’s Gulf Coast, normal life was affected by unprecedented disruptions. National Airlines teams also had their share of navigating the Hurricane as the Airline’s Orlando office had to be temporarily shut down. However, 24x7 charter airline operations could not be compromised and alternative plans were activated. The core operations, mission planning, and ground operations teams were quickly deployed on National Airlines B757-200 (N963CA) aircraft to the company’s Buffalo, NY office along with their families. We ensured seamless continuity of operations supported by our amazing passenger team who activated our B757 within 24 hours’ notice. Responding to challenges with crucial solutions once again reflects National’s ability and commitment to its missions and customers. The efficient transition of our operations center with the tactical support of multiple teams and technology integration within hours is a refined learning for our teams.
