We're proud to see our mission in action via our Parkside Manor team in Pittsburgh, PA! They donated an extensive collection of durable medical equipment to Global Links, an organization that shares rescued medical supplies with communities worldwide. Thank you to the Global Links team for helping to guide the donation process, and picking up the gathered supplies. This initiative reflects National Church Residences' mission to support communities, and we hope it inspires you to find creative ways to give back too! #MissionInAction #NationalChurchResidences #PittsburghPA #SeniorLiving

The support we've received for Vanderbilt and Battery Park has been overwhelming in the best possible way. Thank you to everyone who has generously donated to these communities, including: • Food Donations: Roman's Deli, Bird Cafe, Black Bears, Mellow Mushroom and World Central Kitchen • Water Donations: City of Asheville, Bird Cafe, and Danielle Christenbury and Rebecca Williamson from our Midland Commons community in Charlotte • General Help: Graham, a good Samaritan, who drove down from Charlotte to offer assistance. • Maintenance: Buckner Plumbing provided essential maintenance services. We're also grateful to Ruscilli Construction for their ongoing support and efforts to assess damage and ensure the safety of our properties and for donating two pallets of water. To all, your kindness has made a significant difference in our residents and employee's lives! #HurricaneRelief #CommunitySupport #NationalChurchResidences #BatteryPark #Vanderbilt #Asheville #AshevilleNC #HurricaneHelene

Our mission is to continue developing senior housing communities which will remain affordable for the long term. Our development team successfully assembled layers of low-cost, flexible debt and equity to acquire the land to build Salem Village. As a result of our partnership with the City of Columbus Land Bank, we were able to secure a $4.9M U.S. U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 202 grant and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, resulting in the creation of 76 affordable apartments, completed in 2023. Amidst the aftermath of Hurricane Helene Relief, let us come together in prayer for comfort, strength, and hope. "Sovereign Lord, you made the heavens and the earth and the sea, and everything in them. Even as the earth groans with the terrors of wind and flood, we come to You, our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Strengthen us, Lord, so that we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. And enable us, Lord, to help our brothers and sisters in need. May it be so, Lord. Amen." Ed Bartel, Chaplain | Water's Edge of Bradenton #HurricaneHelene #PrayersForHelene #NationalChurchResidences

During this time of need, we are truly humbled by the incredible outpouring of generosity and support we have received in our mission to provide water to our seniors. It warms our hearts to witness how many people are willing to step up and lend a helping hand to those in need. Every donation we have received, whether it be time, money, or resources, has made a significant impact. Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors, including Ferguson Supply & Box Company and Lowe's Companies, Inc., we've delivered 2.5 pallets of water to our Asheville residents in need. And, we're not stopping there! We're gearing up for another water run with at least three more trucks. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. If you have the means to help, consider donating to our Resident Emergency Fund > https://lnkd.in/eSQ8AXvp Together, we can show the power of community in times of need. #HurricaneHeleneRelief #AshevilleStrong #NationalChurchResidences #HurricaneHelene

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, National Church Residences is deeply committed to supporting our residents and employees impacted by the storm. In Savannah, our property managers are actively monitoring residents while ensuring access to power and water, despite limited supply availability. In Pembroke, we’re working tirelessly to secure essential supplies and a generator, while our team is conducting wellness checks and coordinating efforts to provide immediate relief. Asheville faces challenges with water and power outages, but our dedicated teams are delivering water and ensuring residents have access to the necessary resources. Additionally, our affected Florida community is receiving aid to manage flood damage while maintaining essential services. Together, we are fostering a spirit of resilience and compassion, ensuring our residents have the support they need during this difficult time. National Church Residences has set up a Resident Emergency Fund which provides essential support for residents ensuring they have access to emergency provisions, meals, and medical supplies when they need it most. It will take all of us to solve the middle market housing shortage for older adults. Today, my fellow panelists Jon Fletcher , Joe Pohlen , and Chris King shared their incredible journies of courage, discipline and innovation at the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) fall conference. Thanks to Ben Firestone for your research and Bob Kramer for the inspiration. We can solve this! #NICFall24
