The National Church Residences National Conference held a powerful message from our President & CEO, Susan DiMickele 🌟 Susan shared our core values and how they guide us in everything we do: • Purposeful Service: We're all in this together, with no part of our organization more important than another. We are part of something bigger! • Compassion: Listening first, building trust, and leading with empathy. • Equity & Inclusion: We embrace diverse voices, even when we disagree, and we commit to admitting and correcting our biases. • Excellence: Doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, and embracing a stewardship mindset. • Servant Leadership: Putting the needs of others first and giving, not taking credit. We're proud to currently serve over 60,000 lives across 360 communities in 25 states as we work toward our goal of serving 100,000 seniors by 2030. Together, we're living our mission thanks to the diverse voices that make us strong. #CompassionInAction #PurposefulService #ServantLeadership #DiversityAndInclusion #NationalChurchResidences

A big thank you to LeadingAge Tennessee for delivering 91 cases (2,184 cans) of canned water and cleaning supplies to our Kingsport, TN properties: Kiwanis Towers and Forest Ridge Manor. These communities were impacted by Hurricane Helene, and we are grateful for the support during this challenging time. Thank you to everyone who has worked together to ensure our residents have what they need! Want to help but not sure how? Curious about the theme of this year’s National Conference? It’s Compassion In Action. This theme embodies the heart of our mission — the driving force behind how we support each other as a team and care for over 60,000 seniors through affordable housing and services. This year's theme features a tree symbolizing growth — from careers at National Church Residences to our customers, patients, and partners. The leaves represent opportunities and remind us what are dedicated to: providing older adults with quality housing and services. Together, we’re nurturing potential and supporting the community we serve. #NationalChurchResidences #CompassionInAction #SeniorLiving #SeniorServices #ServingSenior

While the path of Hurricane Milton remains uncertain, the safety of our residents and our commitment to emergency preparedness remains the top priority. Property staff at all of our Florida communities are following emergency protocols to prepare for the storm’s potential impact and a possible mandatory evacuation. In addition, our senior leadership team has been in continuous communication with staff and will remain engaged throughout the week. Meanwhile, we encourage families to stay in contact with loved ones. In the coming days, we’ll post updates about our recovery efforts and the status of our communities. We appreciate your concerns and prayers in the wake of this oncoming storm. #NationalChurchResidences #HurricaneMilton #HurricanePreparations #FloridaSeniorHousing #SeniorHousing

Being part of National Church Residences Senior Services means being part of a family. Providing compassionate Hospice care has a profound impact on our residents as they approach the end of life. Read bout how Michelle Rundo, our Volunteer Coordinator helped to make Ralph’s dream a reality! Ralph Love, one of our beloved hospice clients at Cotter House, has always had a special passion for classic Mustangs. In his younger years, Ralph owned a 1965 Mustang, and his love for these iconic cars has never faded. When Michelle Rundo, our Volunteer Coordinator, learned about Ralph's fondness for Mustangs, she reached out to a friend who owns a pristine 1968 Mustang Convertible. Without hesitation, the owner agreed to help make Ralph’s dream a reality. This week, Ralph was treated to the first of a few joyrides in his dream car. He was picked up from Cotter House and enjoyed a ride filled with nostalgia and excitement. In just a couple of weeks, Ralph will take another special ride, this time passing by his old condo and enjoying the beautiful fall foliage along the way. The smile on Ralph's face was truly heartwarming, but the real highlight was when he was asked if he wanted to sit in the driver’s seat. With a big grin and no hesitation, he enthusiastically replied, “Most definitely!” During the ride, Ralph shared that he was a proud Ford retiree, which only deepened his love for Mustang cars—a perfect full-circle moment for a man with a lifelong passion for Ford’s finest creations. #hospice #hospicecare #palliativecare #communitymatters #endoflifecare #compassionatecare #makingeverymomentcount #qualityoflife #hope #inspiration
