The Federal Communications Commission has officially adopted georouting for calls to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which means callers who need in-person help will be able to receive it much more quickly and efficiently. "In its first two years alone, more than 10 million people contacted the 988 Lifeline through calls, chats and texts,” said National Council president and CEO Charles Ingoglia. "Much more than a crisis line, however, the 988 Lifeline represents a portal to community resources that can help a person both navigate an immediate crisis and find ongoing care. Georouting will make that easier for everyone involved." Read the full statement here: https://bit.ly/4f72TZY

Artificial intelligence has the potential to reduce the administrative burden on clinicians and other staff through automation and streamline tasks like documentation, billing, patient management and scheduling. That frees clinicians up to focus more on patient care, improving efficiency and reducing burnout. However, integrating AI into daily workflows isn't always easy. At tomorrow's Workforce Solutions Jam, you’ll hear from providers who will share their experiences with implementing AI technology to reduce their clinics' administrative burdens. Join us, The College for Behavioral Health Leadership and Health Management Associates for a candid conversation about provider efficiency, patient care and clinician wellbeing — the real-world impact, practical challenges and successes of AI: https://bit.ly/483yyZT

Celebrating #WorldMentalHealthDay with a tremendous milestone--we've trained 4 MIILLON humans across the country in #MentalHealthFirstAid. Many thanks to the Instructors, Staff and First Aiders and organizations who made this milestone possible! For more than a decade, I've heard story after story about the positive impact that normalizing the conversation around mental health has had on so many individuals, and I'm proud to be a part of this amazing community. Celebrate with us by taking at least 10 minutes to TENd to your own mental health by completing one action or activity that supports your wellbeing and sharing it with others here below, or even by texting or speaking with someone in your network. Grateful that there are 3,999,999 other people who share our mission to #BeThe1in15 by training at least one person in everyone's close circle of family of friends in the USA! Also grateful to be a part of an international movement of more than 7 million people who are trained globally. Here's to the next 4 Million!

The theme for this year's #WorldMentalHealthDay is "Prioritizing Mental Health in the Workplace." A survey showed that 1 in 5 U.S. workers rate their mental health as fair or poor, leading to increased absences. When employees feel safe and supported, they're three times more likely to be engaged at work. Let's work together to ensure every employee has the opportunity to thrive. To start investing in workplace wellbeing, answer the poll below or follow along with Mental Health First Aid's countdown to World Mental Health Day and select the "Day 7" tab here: https://bit.ly/4dwy5R2
