🚀 New Insights into Cerebellar Ataxia! Researchers led by Lin et al. have uncovered how disruptions in climbing fiber (CF)–to–Purkinje cell connections contribute to ataxia symptoms. Loss of CFs was observed in different ataxia subtypes, and inhibiting these connections in mice led to ataxia-like motor dysfunction and disrupted cerebellar rhythms—mirroring patient findings.
