About us

We’re all about mobility. Our made-just-for-you mobility devices keep you moving through all of life’s challenges. And, as a preferred provider, we’re moving our industry ahead with state-of-the-art technology and uniquely engineered wheelchair components. We build the right chairs for people with severe physical challenges. Many are children with birth defects, such as Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy and Spina Bifida. We also serve teens, adults and seniors challenged with severe trauma, disease and skeletal disorders. To get it right, we must continually adhere to a spider web of ever-changing state and federal laws, as well as insurance regulations. This requires a dedicated team of master ATPs, expert compliance /funding specialists and a national management team dedicated to what’s best for our clients. Thanks to our talented hardworking team of people, we’re able to accomplish our mission—one wheelchair at a time.

  • Cheryl Angelelli started competitive swimming when she was 8 years old. At 14, while learning a new racing dive with her swim team, she broke her neck. As a C-6 quadripalegic, she thought her dreams of swimming in the Olympics were over. Not only did she go on to become a Paralympic medalist, after she retired from professional swimming, she started a wheelchair ballroom dancing program, competing on the national and international stage. Read her story in Let's Get Moving Journal: https://bit.ly/3WtvBxo

    • Photo of Cheryl sitting next to her manual wheelchair outside on a sunny day. Graphic reads, "“I was looking for another competitive outlet, a recreation outlet, and para dance was something I knew about...It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the sport.”

  • Altimate’s Zing MPS is the only multi-position stander that pivots in two directions, allowing the unit to go from flat-to-load supine to 20 degrees prone in one motion. There is no need to transfer the user in and out and flip the pads, footplates, and trays. This ability provides a therapeutic opportunity that is not possible with other standing frames. It is also one of the few standers that provides the option of up to 30 degrees of independent leg abduction. The Zing MPS is also available in Size 2. Contact your local NSM ATP to request a demo! Testimonial from Chloe’s mom: “Today, Chloe stood in her Zing MPS in the kitchen with the family and dyed eggs! The tray on her stander is removable, making it easy for her to join all the action. Also, we tried the egg in a bag with rice and food coloring technique this year, and it was the perfect way for Chloe to color her eggs independently. I would recommend it!” To Learn More, visit https://bit.ly/3zR9sR1

  • This month we're highlighting active living among those in the mobility community. Check out this story about how a surfer didn't have to give up her time in the water, even after a spinal cord injury. https://bit.ly/3xPgtkC [Image link shows a woman in a manual wheelchair sitting next to two surfboards and talking with a man using a cane.]

  • Thank you, Stephanie, for tagging us in this photo on Instagram! We're glad we could get Aidan set up with his new stander! "Today was an exciting day as we got to fit Aidan for his standing frame! He seemed very comfortable in it and almost looked like he might fall asleep. It takes a long time to get insurance approval for equipment like this and we’ve been waiting for this one for 6 months so we were very happy to go home with one today! Standing frames are very important for people with limited mobility as standing improves bone density, blood circulation, GI function, hip health and reduces spasticity. Thankful for Reach Pediatric Rehab and NSM for helping us get this for Aidan!" Looking for pediatric CRT equipment? Contact your local branch to see how we can help: https://bit.ly/4f1RgEf
