Since it's #BioplasticsWeek, we're resharing the great news that PLA does not contribute to the problem of persistent microplastics. ✅ According to a recent meta-study, conducted by HYDRA Marine Sciences on Ingeo PLA in the environment, in contrast to non-biodegradable polymers, PLA will eventually fully hydrolyze and biodegrade, meaning no persistent particles should remain and accumulate in the environment. 🌊 Read more on our website: https://lnkd.in/gVwdgdUU #BioplasticsWeek2024 #IngeoPLA #microplastics #biomaterials

🔹 Confira como foi o Congresso de Manufatura Aditiva da ENTEC na 3DEXPO 2024! No dia 28 de setembro, a FACENS, em Sorocaba, foi palco de um evento especial: o Congresso de Manufatura Aditiva, organizado pela ENTEC durante a 3DEXPO 2024, o maior evento de impressão 3D do Brasil. Reunindo palestrantes de renome internacional, o congresso trouxe discussões sobre os avanços mais recentes em materiais e tecnologias de impressão 3D. A programação começou com a palestra de Thiago Medeiros, da LEHVOSS, que apresentou os novos materiais de engenharia para manufatura aditiva, como PAHT (poliamida HT), além de PA CF, PET CF, PPS CF, PLA CF (materiais com fibra de carbono). Em seguida, uma mesa-redonda mediada por Emanuel Campos debateu os desafios e oportunidades do mercado. No período da tarde, Salvador Ortega, da NatureWorks, destacou os avanços globais em PLA e soluções sustentáveis. Fábio Santana, da Farcco Tecnologias, abordou normas e aplicações para a indústria e medicina, enquanto Vitor Hugo Jacob, da Stratasys, apresentou inovações em sistemas industriais FDM. What a day at our Málaga capsules show! After market orientation delivered by me, we went down memory lane with Capsul'in Pro, we reminded ourselves of the sole purpose of capsules with AluSense, we understood what makes a Happy Capsule with Rychiger, we were the first ones to know about the alupak AG and ALU - CAPS merger, we were impressed with 30% lightweighting effort by Georg MENSHEN GmbH & Co. KG, we were introduced to the Wonky Coffee concept, we got some clarity regarding PPWR via input from NatureWorks, ALPLA Group and Normec OWS and we reviewed new compostable materials from Competitive Green Technologies, Ningbo TIANAN Biological material Co., ltd. and PA Consulting.
