The One Hanford purchasing program has been recognized again with an EPEAT Award for sustainable electronics purchasing. The Global Electronics Council uses EPEAT (the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool) to identify equipment that meets their criteria for reducing the lifecycle impacts that electronics have on the environment. The One Hanford purchasing team of DOE, Central Plateau Cleanup Company, Hanford Mission Integration Solutions, InoMedic Health Applications, Inc., Navarro-ATL and Washington River Protection Solutions was recognized in five categories –computers and displays, imaging equipment, televisions, mobile phones and servers -- for the sixth consecutive year. Congratulations to everyone who is helping make a difference!

Well, that’s a wrap on #NORM2024! Several #Navarro-ATL scientists presented today about their work performed at the 222-S Lab on the Hanford site. It was great to support a fellow Research and Technology Development colleague, Solomon, and learn about analytical work presented by Tim and Andrew. Well done everyone!

We’ve been busy at #NORM2024! #Navarro-ATL scientists have been attending technical sessions, networking with ACS leaders, and learning about technology transfer and the Cosmic Crisp Apple. Today I presented on Sheewa’s behalf about the long-term performance of reference electrodes and corrosion potential monitoring in Hanford tank waste. Attendees expressed this was “brilliant work” and enjoyed the presentation! Way to go Sheewa and those who’ve supported this work.
