The twentieth nuclear professional to be featured in our "25 Years of NAYGN Energizing the Future of Nuclear" series is Kellie Malone Kelley! Kellie started her NAYGN career at Nuclear Fuel Services in 2021 when she was working her first job out of college as a Nuclear Fuel Process Engineer. She was given the opportunity to serve as the Social Chair, which she quickly accepted, and it was great to understand what her peers in the industry liked to do outside of work. After that, she moved into a secretary role until moving companies, where she now serves as the Vice President/School Outreach Chair for the ENERCON Kennesaw Chapter! NAYGN has given her the momentum she needed to uncover and refine the vastness of her skills, talents, and passions to help her grow as an individual and professional.

The nineteenth nuclear professional to be featured in our "25 Years of NAYGN Energizing the Future of Nuclear" series is Kristin Zaitz. Kristin started at Diablo Canyon Power Plant as an intern in 2001 and joined NAYGN shortly thereafter. She was the chapter lead at Diablo Canyon (2008 – 2009), Western Regional Lead (2007 – 2008), US Affairs Chair (2009 – 2011), and ended her time in leadership as Vice President, President, and Past President (2011 – 2014). Highlights of her career include leading active decommissioning projects to leading efforts to save existing nuclear plants through co-founding Mothers for Nuclear. NAYGN gave her the confidence to lead.
