CEED actively promotes economic empowerment through education, job creation, safe affordable housing, employment and assisting small business owners through business planning to micro-loans and our (PIP) Partners In Progress Networking program.
From the initial start in 1990, we have grown as a non-profit organization with three programs; the Women’s Business Center, the New Choices Program and the Lease to Home Program. All the programs within CEED serve as a regional resource and advocacy center for individuals and families, enabling restoration of personal dignity through economic empowerment and development. We are dedicated to helping women and men help themselves and find their own strength to suCEED.
Our mission has always been to promote the growth, productiveness and well-being through counseling, education, information and advocacy programs. CEED works with other community agencies to achieve this goal, and has a solid history of helping women, men and families through our specialized programs. CEED delivers a $10 million per year impact to the Sandhills Region of North Carolina through programs and services for our clients.
