We chatted with Erin from Young + Wild Balloon Co. about starting her business as a stay-at-home mom, her experience on the NC4K Board of Directors, and her upcoming, can't-miss Golden Gala. Read more below!

“[After connecting with NC4K] I jumped in feet first. I was like, ‘What do you need?’ Immediately, I was off to the races with them.” As the founder of Young and Wild Balloon Company / Alpha-Lit Columbus, Erin Fehrenbach creates balloon displays guaranteed to “make your event shine with a touch of nostalgia and lots of magic,” including several NC4K fundraisers and family events. At the beginning of 2024, Erin started serving on our Board of Directors, and coming up in September, she’s hosting a Young + Wild Golden Gala fundraiser for NC4K. This summer we had the opportunity to host four interns at the NC4K office: Maddie, Olivia, Jawaher, and Rosa. These interns are high school and college students from Columbus Academy High School, Dublin Coffman High School, and The Ohio State University. Their time with us was spent prepping for our Sample Sale, Back-to-School Bash, and upcoming Fashion Show, as well as assisting with other operational needs. We are so grateful for their support this summer and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors!

Saturday, August 3rd, the Alpha Sigma Phi/Delta Epsilon Alumni Organization hosted the annual DCM Garage Rules Open Golf Scramble benefiting NC4K and our Wheels for Aiden program. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to be invited to this event and for your support in ensuring No Kid Fights Cancer Alone.
