North Carolina's hospitality sector continues to grow with 472,900 employed in restaurants, bars, and hotels this July. This marks a 1.6% increase from July 2023 and a 4.8% jump from pre-pandemic levels in 2019. So far in 2024, the average employment in our state’s hospitality industry is up 4% compared to 2019, showing strong resilience and growth.
