Project Spotlight - Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD At Eagle Mountain ISD, NCS acted as the network infrastructure integrator, deploying a fiber optic backbone system using Corning Incorporated fiber distributed to over 16 Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDFs). Our team installed 3,242 Panduit Cat 6A cables at various data locations, 496 Cat 6A cables for 248 wireless access points, and 188 Panduit Cat 6A cables for security camera connectivity.

Connecting the Future of Power Generation - Carazon Ranch Solar Farm NCS installed fiber splice boxes, components, fusion splices, and fusion connectors to ensure connectivity within the solar farm in Laredo, Texas. NCS performed the following scope of work: - Fusion splicing of OPGW fiber cables at 93 pole locations. - Fiber optic terminations at multiple solar panel skids and in the main substation utilize splice-on fiber connectors. - Provided and installed all AFL Splice Closures, Splice Trays, External Coil - Brackets, and Connector Kits for splicing of OPGW fiber cable. - Provided all fiber patch cords for interconnection between the fiber infrastructure and SCADA system network devices at the Solar panel skids and the main substation. - Post-certification testing of all OPGW and conventional OSP fiber optic cables before splicing and termination. - Performed tier-1 and tier-2 testing of all fiber optic cables utilizing an optical domain reflectometer (OTDR) and optical loss test set (OLTS).
