CONNECTING TO PROTECT OUR NATION
About us
The Michigan Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) was founded in 1919 as the Army Ordnance Association. Its charter is to provide a legal and ethical forum for the interchange of ideas between the government and industry to resolve industrial problems of joint concern. Currently the Michigan Chapter has more than 1,700 members representing government, military, and industry. The majority of large businesses that support the Michigan defense community are Corporate Members of NDIA. The Michigan Chapter is involved in a myriad of different activities that support all branches of the armed forces, local, state, and federal government, as well as the corporate entities that support our warfighters, first responders, and patriotic Americans. VISION: NDIA is the trusted leader in defense and national security associations. Another Annual Dinner Meeting is history. A huge congratulations to our National Defense Industrial Association - (NDIA) silver medal recipient, Angie Lommen, PMP, for her years of inspirational dedication to the NDIA, our warfighters and our Michigan Defense Community. In addition, it was a pleasure to recognize Ron and Mary Lamparter each with a bronze medal for their selflessness servitude in support of our military and veterans. We heard some inspiring stories from Doug Stanton. And lastly, a big round of applause for our Board and our tremendous community. The NDIA Michigan Chapter is here because of you and our Warfighters!
