On March 24th, students and local sales professionals are invited to Barry Hall (Louise Auditorium) for a presentation by NDSU Alumni, Joe Pallo! It was a brisk kickoff for the first inaugural Marvin Frozen Showdown. Two rival schools, North Dakota State University and the University of Minnesota Duluth, competed for sales glory at our Warroad headquarters. During their visit, students immersed themselves in Marvin's rich history and innovative products. They toured our state-of-the-art facilities, engaged in hands-on learning experiences prior to the competition, and delivered a well-researched sales pitch to an expert crowd: Judges Chris Stith, Valerie Johnson, and Jason Carmichael recognized the showdown's top three student pitches with scholarships to fuel their ongoing education. The competition helped to provide students a real-world opportunity to turn their education into practice. Channel Sales Director Jason Carmichael praised the students' professionalism and dedication. For those keeping score, both schools showcased exceptional effort and sportsmanship. Top finishers in the sales competition category: 🥇 Breanna Storlie, UMD 🥈 Leah Blomquist, UMD 🥉 Linnea Axtman, NDSU Top finishers in the speed interview challenge: 🥇 Hunter Einertson, NDSU 🥈 Amanda Waletski, NDSU 🥉 Trace Wagner, NDSU Congratulations to all participants and a special nod to the top finishers.
