This week, students from the Wakefield Afterschool Program visited Wakefield Health Care Center to learn about the many ways a nursing home serves its residents. 💙 The afterschool program follows a curriculum provided by the Nebraska Health Careers Pipeline Initiative, which aims to grow Nebraska's healthcare workforce by teaching youth about the many healthcare settings. The Pipeline Initiative is a collaboration between the Nebraska Health Care Association and Nebraska Hospital Association, with support from the Nebraska Health Care Foundation and Medica.
