This month marks another year for Nectar as we celebrate our 16th anniversary! There are many great memories from our last year, but here are some of our favorites: 🍑Working with our clients to secure impactful media opportunities in leading publications, including Bloomberg, The New York Times, and Business Insider. 🍑Connecting and meeting with media and clients at key industry events like Money20/20, National Retail Federation, and VentureBeat Transform. 🍑 Giving back to our communities from coast to coast during Nectar’s Annual Day of Giving through an Ocean Beach clean-up in SF, meal donations with KIPP NYC in NYC, and donating clothes to children with Cradles to Crayons Massachusetts in Boston. 🍑Partnering with our sister agencies Outcast and Archetype to launch Marker Collective a joint venture and new agency model. Together, we also launched Delve, an insight engine that uses AI to transform the way we track and analyze media coverage. Event spotlight 🔎 Over the last several months, a team of Nectarines secured three on-stage speaking engagements for our clients, Google Cloud and Menlo Ventures during VentureBeat's #VBTransform2024. Yasmeen Ahmad (Managing Director at Google Cloud) spoke about the power of LLMs and multimodal AI, Aashima Gupta (Global Director of Healthcare Strategy & Solutions at Google Cloud) showcased how Google Cloud's generative AI solutions are improving patient care in real-world settings, Zac Maufe (Head of Regulated Industries at Google Cloud) discussed the impact of generative AI on finance, and Tim Tully (Partner at Menlo Ventures) joined the panel of judges for the Innovation Showcase, which featured six companies who showcased their enterprise-enabled AI technologies. Each year, we host a skill building workshop for our Nectarines. As part of this annual commitment to our growth, we joined former journalists and writing connoisseurs, Maya Kosoff and Eliza Carter, from 18 Olives 🫒 for two, three-hour writing workshops. Last week, Nectarines joined the Google Cloud ☁️ comms team in Las Vegas for Google Cloud Next '24! The week-long event focused on showcasing how Google Cloud’s AI is transforming the way that companies work. In the lead-up to the event, Nectarines supported Googlers across numerous areas including reviewing 120+ Google Cloud Partner Award announcements and 80+ partner-driven press releases, coordinating 2 virtual press conferences attended by 180+ journalists across EMEA, JAPAC, LATAM and North America, and so much more.
