We have arrived at our last session of the 2024 New England HIMSS DHC, “Panel: Funding Healthcare Innovation: Everything You Wanted to Know About Investor Priorities But Were Afraid to Ask,” with panelists Sanji Fernando, David Epstein, and John Curtin. Some points noted in this session: - Surround yourself with great mentors and don’t be afraid to utilize them - Perfect is the enemy of good when it comes to investing in new technology - New technology will take time to implement, but the services component and human in the loop will accelerate the adoption - The quick shift from COVID -> AI in recent years has created a time for rapid change, innovation and adoption in the industry and others, sequentially for investors as well Thank you, Sanji, David and John for your insights to round out the day!
