We're excited to announce the acquisition of a state-of-the-art scanning electron microscope (SEM) with 100,000x magnification! This powerful tool allows us to capture images of materials at the nanoscale, revealing key features for our R&D projects and yours. 🔬 No longer limited to the surface, you can now gain profound insights with these key features: 🔹Visualize Intricate Features: It has both a Backscattered Electron Detector (BSD) and a Secondary Electron Detector (SED), which can be used to identify different phases present in a sample and provide crisp, surface-sensitive imaging. 🔹Deeper Insights: Energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) provides elemental composition information on chosen spots or element distribution through EDS mapping. 🔹Diverse Applications: A variety of sample forms ranging from powder, electrode (both the surface and the cross-section), coating (surface and cross-section), electrospun fibers, and composite materials, can be examined under the microscope. Ready to explore the possibilities? Check out our website. https://lnkd.in/emsDswx5 #SEM

Winter's icy grip can wreak havoc on your equipment and operations. Don't wait until it's too late! Take control and protect your assets with NEI’s anti-ice coatings. Anti-ice coatings are specialized surface treatments designed to prevent or minimize ice formation. These coatings typically create a hydrophobic (water-repellent) surface that inhibits water droplets from freezing and adhering. NANOMYTE® SuperAi can significantly minimize the risk of accidents, downtime, and costly repairs by reducing ice adhesion by up to 80%. Common applications for anti-ice coatings include: 🔹Aerospace – aircraft wings, propellers, and windshields 🔹Automotive – windshields, mirrors, and sensors 🔹Energy – wind turbines, power lines, and solar panels 🔹Infrastructure – bridges, roads, and traffic signs 🔹Marine – ships, boats, and offshore structure Ready to conquer winter? Learn more about SuperAi and request a quote today! https://lnkd.in/eDY-UCqq

Achieving higher energy density is a critical goal in lithium-ion battery development. Nickel-rich NMCs (Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxides) have emerged as a promising solution due to their superior specific capacity and energy density compared to traditional cathode materials. Their ability to store more energy in a smaller volume makes them increasingly attractive for applications demanding high performance. At NEI, we specialize in high-nickel content NMC products tailored for diverse research needs. Our offerings include: 🔹NMC Powders: NMC111, NMC532, NMC622, & NMC85:5:10 (replacing former NMC811) 🔹NMC Electrode Sheets: NMC111, NMC532, NMC622, NMC811 (limited quantities available while supplies last), & NMC85:5:10 Interested in exploring our lithium-ion battery materials? Great meeting with our valued partner in Europe, PI-KEM Ltd! Thank you Brigid, Colin, and team for all of the work that you do. Our European customers are in good hands with PI-KEM.

Business Development Manager at PI-KEM Ltd - Specialist supplier of advanced materials & equipment for innovative research.

Colin Rouse and I had a brilliant visit to London last week to meet with Ganesh Skandan, the CEO of one of our partners NEI Corporation.   NEI have been able to support our customers by producing powders, pre-coated electrode sheets and now pre-coated electrode rolls.   As well as their standard range, they have been able to produce specific customised formulations for many of our customers.   NEIs pre-coated electrodes can be a great way to save time and ensure reproducibility.   Please get in touch if you are interested in any of NEIs range or customised formulations.   Thank you Ganesh for taking time out of your family holiday to meet with us.   It was really valuable to better understand how PI-KEM Ltd and NEI can support each other in the growing battery research industry.

Happy #NationalInternDay to our Summer Marketing Intern Elysha Conrad!

View profile for Elysha Conrad, graphic

Honors Finance and Marketing Student at Rutgers Business School

In honor of #NationalInternDay, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on my time at NEI Corporation as a Marketing Intern. When I started at NEI in late May, I had a good understanding of the product launch pipeline from my classes, but actually playing a part in making it happen was new to me. Throughout my internship, I worked in conjunction with the Sales Operations Manager, Krista Martin, to launch 2 new products and 1 new service. It has been very rewarding to see ideas I’ve had come to life and I’ve learned a lot about SEO optimization, marketing to a technical audience, email marketing, and website design through Krista’s invaluable feedback along the way. In turn, I have been able to help execute more robust, omnichannel marketing efforts to target the customers we already have through email and find new ones through expanded social media and online advertising efforts. I took the initiative to build a system to keep track of content ideas, progress, and posting, which has proved to be an essential tool in getting content made, approved, organized, and posted in a timely manner. Besides all that I have learned about marketing and small business dynamics, I now know more about the components and process of making a battery then I ever thought I would! Thank you Ganesh Skandan for bringing me on. I’m looking forward to a few more amazing weeks at NEI, before returning to Rutgers in the fall.

Don’t let the summer sun spoil your plastics!☀️ Unfortunately, UV radiation from sunlight can break chemical bonds in polymer and composite surfaces. These highly sensitive materials can face surface degradation from outdoor exposure, ultimately leading to undesirable results like cracking and yellowing. NEI has developed a line of coatings to address this issue. Our NANOMYTE® UV-Protect (UVP) technology preserves surface quality while providing UV protection for underlying coatings or primers. NANOMYTE® UVP coatings block UV radiation, which protects surfaces by preventing further penetration of UV light, thereby preserving the material’s strength, coating adhesion, and appearance. NANOMYTE® UVP coatings are available for purchase in liter and gallon quantities and can be applied by conventional coating processes. Additionally, NEI offers in-house coating services for customer's parts and customized coating development services. Explore our UV Protective coatings today. https://lnkd.in/eEHFmT3m
