About us
NeighborGood Partners' mission is to strengthen communities through housing, lending, and financial education. NeighborGood Partners—a Delaware organization based in Dover—was incorporated in 1955, began providing housing development services in 1976, added homeownership counseling in 1989, launched financial literacy training in 2005, and added default and foreclosure prevention counseling at the end of 2007. During this time, NeighborGood Partners has become a leader in housing development of affordable apartments and homeownership services in Delaware, creating affordable housing alternatives and helping families with housing needs to access homeownership statewide.

Today, we had a fantastic walk through with the Delaware State University (DSU) staff in our new NeighborGood Center space located on the corner of Division Street in Dover—opening soon! As a hub for our community development, our Restoring Central Dover team will house the first floor, and DSU will provide small business incubator space on the second floor!
