A creative partner for imaginative brands who dare to dream.

About us

NeoPangea is a digital media company that delivers tailor-made, brainsploding interactive delights for real-spaces and digi-verses. We create experience design for interactive museum exhibits and activations, out of home advertising, animated ads, AR and VR development, video game development, interactive media, and entertainment marketing. We’re a creative partner for imaginative brands like you, who dare to dream...and dream big. To be heroic. To be the first to walk across the rickety bridge over a crocodile-infested ravine. To do things your competitors want to steal. Who do we do it for? Brands. TV Networks. Museums. Start ups. Anyone who wants to join us on a creative journey and have fun (there, we said it again) with people you genuinely love being around. Who do we NOT do it for? Jargon-embracing bores who love vanilla, worship buzzwords, and want to be schmoozed. We’re NeoPangea. Let’s do something great, together.

Feeling a bit spacey? Then take that next zoom meeting in our Discovery One - a "2001, Space Odyssey" inspired pod. Master filmmaker Stanley Kubrick created a massive revolving set to simulate the sense of anti-gravity. While our NeoPangeans plug away in this pod, they may not have pens drift past but they will have a space suit conveyor belt, monitors playing NASA footage and Hal 9000 (just don’t push his buttons). We wanted to create a private "space" for virtual meeting to talk to the hybrid team, and flex our scenic design muscles, from concept to reality, our wizards created a few thematic conference rooms. This grand illusion was fabricated from junkyard finds — a vacuum pump, hosing, even a medical gas regulator. And though anyone who steps inside will be technically orbiting Jupiter, the high-speed internet works great. #branding #digital #creativity #packaging #digitalpackaging #rebranding #brandiddentity #brandingdesign #brand #creative #inspired #inspiration #officelife #agencylife #marketing #innovation #agency #behindthescenes #bts #setlife #set #onset

Comments from a snack manufacturing legend fills our cups, er, pretzel bags. 🥨 In another snacking confession, Unique Pretzels mastermind, Justin Spannuth, admits to “actually” enjoying meetings with NeoPangea. Spannuth says, “They are fun” of NeoPangea and goes on to elaborate, “…the highlight of my week.” Rumor fueled fans on both sides of the issue scrutinize that this type of “upbeat positivity” could inevitably spoil NeoPangea for other potential partners. Only time will tell for certain… In a private interview with Brett Bagenstose, CEO of NeoPangea, he shared, “I completely understand why Justin said the comment he did. I want him to know, our cup runneth over with Gratitude and pretzel splits... and the weeks without Justin are filled with eternal sadness and empty pretzel bags.” No further questions could be answered due to loud crunching and jovial laughter heard on the scene. A MountAIn of Possibilities ⛰ We took our favorite mountain and brought it to life in 3D using Blender. Then, we fed that render into Runway, and had a blast reimagining the same scene with prompts whipped up in ChatGPT. One moment it’s a snow-covered peak under a bright, sunny sky; next thing you know, it’s dusk, with less snow, more fog, or a jungle of vegetation creeping in. Atmosphere and scene shift with ideas and words. What used to take days now happens in minutes. Is it perfect? Nah, not yet—but we’re close. And yeah, we may have gone a little off the rails with some wild ideas, but if you know us, you know we can’t help ourselves. Snapple's meme-worthy video is a treasure trove of internet goodies! We put the fizz in a bottle of charming irreverence when we created the most annotated video on YouTube for the good people at Snapple. We set out to create an experience which visitors would want to share with their friends. What happened was we created the most annotated video on Youtube, at that time. Thirsty to learn how? The strategy of the video was to engage, entice and impress die-hard Snapple fans and also appeal to the average internet user to accelerate viral appeal. Our approach needed to be a fresh concept while paying respect to Snapple's established brand image. Our solution organically took shape, as we decided that the likelihood of one video "going viral" wasn't a strong object, but rather we should transform many videos, with hundreds of different meme-worthy original content into a music video. We created content for over one hundred links strategically placed throughout the video! To do this within a tight timeline, we needed to repurpose the existing content of the music video into a treasure hunt of over 100 spreadable internet toys, videos, and other goodies. The final project resulted in the most annotated video on YouTube! We also partnered with the creative team at Campfire to sweeten the "Lunch break beats" video with over a hundred hidden links to interactives, websites, video shorts and other tasty best-ness created for the viewer's amusement. "Snapple Lunch break beats" has been a playful and engaging experience for the visitors who have acquainted themselves with it. On the day it premiered on YouTube, the video drew 464,983 views marking how well it was received by our audience. #R&D #animation #illustration #sounddesign #illustration #videoproduction #design #posteditorial

    Tech Director, "Chancellor of Technology"

We proved accessibility and personalization can be done for under $200, parts list below…. We asked, what if RFID could be used to create custom exhibits and make attractions that transform the visitor experience? What if it could magically bring exhibits and attractions to life? To answer the questions poking the back of our minds, we got to work on a magical little box of tricks. Think of it as exhibition technology that opens exciting new doors for you, your visitors, and your team, both now and for museums of the future. The DNA results are in, HDRI is 99% movie magic (and 1% postproduction) This product video for Harrington Hoist gets the star-treatment, because we used a technique often found in theatrical films! 🤩 Using Blender software, our 3D Animation team added camera projection techniques called HDRI to the environment surrounding the chainhoist 3D model. HDRI is a panoramic, 360 degree seamless spherical projection pioneered by Hollywood blockbuster movies such as the Matrix. In this instance, HDRI photography lended a fully balanced, photo-realistic background for the 3D model of the chain hoist for unobstructed views. Spinning this fast is a hoot and a holler, and we’re happy that with HDRI background in a 3D environment, the lighting tracks losslessly around the 3D model adding extra realism to each shot. Think back to when Keanu Reeves was in “Bullet Time”, which was shot against a greenscreen. It’s the same principal, except we don’t have Agent Smith on our tails, (yet.) In this video you can see the wireframe, shaded and final pass of the HDRI warehouse environment, dressing up the landscape and turning “white screen” into photo realism magic. #bts #cgi #hdri #blender #highdynamicrange #productvideo #hollywoodmagic #proection #cameratechniques

Fight against the human lung’s most formidable foe in Augmented Reality! In the United States, 2.1 million students use e-cigarettes. Since vaping poses a tremendous risk to children’s health, our partners at The Real Cost and Fandom set out to educate a generation of youth about the menace vaping causes to their lungs and inspire them to kick the vaping habit. Because kids have a small appetite for adults nagging them about their health, we needed to develop a unique approach to health education that engages them in a way that would inspire them to pay attention. Enter “Attack of the Metallic Menace,” an augmented reality game that is on a crusade against vaping! It is an immersive gaming experience introduced in San Diego during the biggest fan convention of the year, Comic-Con. This prevention campaign focuses on awareness surrounding the imminent dangers of vaping, but it’s not so obvious that it’s edutainment. The AR experience plays like a first-person shooter combat game, where preserving your lungs’ health is mission critical. 3D objects designed to simulate shards of metal vapor are hurled towards players, providing not-so-subtle cues that each inhale of a vape delivers tiny metal scraps directly into the lungs’ alveoli. Our team addressed frictionless entry into gameplay by using web-AR technology from our partner Niantic, Inc., makers of “Pokémon Go.” Optimized to be playable on a website instead of an app, allowing for the widest playability across devices, “Metallic Menace” beckons all to put a stop to the chromium chaos plaguing our country! #AR #gamification #goodcause #conceptualization #strategy #copy #content #animation Michael Langford Isaac Ugay Katherine LaTerza Elizabeth Payton Kayla Oktavec

Creating story-driven immersive & interactive spaces for real & digital worlds @ NeoPangea. Growing audiences for entertainment, experiential, & museums.

What if we could personalize, localize, and make exhibits more accessible without any friction for the visitor? Meet RFID. Your new BFF. Well, I'm sure you've already met. For well over half a century, RFID tech has been tracking us in employee badges, keyless entry, toll road tags, and contactless payments. Handy? Sure. Exciting? Nope. So, what if RFID could be used to personalize exhibits and make attractions that transform the visitor experience? What if it could magically bring exhibits and attractions to life? And what if, at the same time, we could use the same RFID tech to simplify your team's life a little? With the help of some great partners, "Harry Potter: The Exhibition” (link in comments) used a branded RFID bracelet to personalize millions of visitor’s journey through the Wizarding World. It was used to collect points for their chosen house, track their progress and choices throughout the exhibition, and add delightful moments like integrating their name and face into surprising places. However, this isn't just about wizardry. RFID isn’t only for huge travelling exhibitions. RFID can be used at a variety of scales. To prove this, we created a portable RFID system, the “Telekinetic Personalization Machine”. Our little experiment exposes possibilities beyond the tech typically used in exhibitions. RFID can also provide unique, personalized experiences for varying levels of learning style and ability, physical ability, and those who may have visual or auditory impairments. Whether it's bringing dinosaurs to life or diving into historical adventures, there are so many uses for RFID in exhibitions…. 💡 User Generated Content: A visitor can create something at one interactive station, save it, and add on to it in other stations. 💡 Hero’s Journey: The visitor’s choices could be collected and used in future moments in your exhibition, customizing their experience. 💡 Dwell Time: By tracking how much time visitors are spending in different spaces or interacting with content, RFID can capture data to help you learn what is and isn’t working in your exhibit. 💡 Favoriting: Visitors could choose their favorite artifacts, art, etc and save it to an account or emailed more information after their visit. 💡 Accessibility: RFID can trigger different visual or audio modes to make content more accessible. 💡 Localization: Visitors can engage with content in their native language or regionalized with content that feels familiar to them. 💡 Operations: Shut down cycles or CMS access can be simplified with a swipe of a badge. #RFID can usher in a new era of museum experiences that can turn those dipping attendances around, and get guests coming back for more. And that’s the real magic here. Join Shane Hoffa and I at the next WXO - World Experience Organization campfire (9/11 @ 12:55p EST) where we dive into the technology and imagine its capabilities in real world spaces. #exhibitdesign #exhibitions #immersive
