🚨📣 🚨 📣🚨 📣 𝗕𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗣 𝗕𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗣 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧 - 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗟 The 48 CFR CMMC proposed rule has cleared regulatory review. The next step is publication in the Federal Register (probably within the next two weeks, definitely before the end of the month). There will be a 60-day public comment period after which the DoD will adjudicate and respond to public comments then submit a final rule for review and publication. After that the rule goes into effect and DoD can begin their "phased roll-out" and start inserting the DFARS 252.204-7021 clause into contracts (likely the second half of 2025). 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁: regulatory review only took 86 days. OIRA has 90 days and often requested an additional 30 days. Yet another CMMC rule flying through the process. 🚨📣 🚨 📣🚨 📣 𝗕𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗣 𝗕𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗣 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧 - 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗟
