NERA’s team, led by Grant Saggers and George Anstey, with support from Leen Dickx, Maximilian Czernin, Rafael Sambeat, Federico Sciacca, and Hamza Shoaib, assisted the merging parties in Macquarie Asset Management’s acquisition of Last Mile Infrastructure, the first case reviewed under the UK’s Energy Network Special Merger Regime. By addressing horizontal competition issues and demonstrating the parties were not close competitors, we supported the CMA’s unconditional clearance of the transaction.
