NetSPI reposted this
I really enjoyed getting to present with Thomas Elling last Friday at BSidesPDX. It was great to finally tell the full story of our Azure Function App research to my local BSides community. This was my first time attending since 2019, so it was great to reconnect with a bunch of people. There were lots of great talks this year, but my personal favorite was Shane Kell from NetSPI giving a talk on attacks against his smart rowing machine. If anyone is looking for the recordings, the livestreams are up on the BSidesPDX YouTube channel (https://lnkd.in/gfNBgH7i). I assume those will eventually get edited down to individual talks.

🟠 #CAASM [mini]-course 🟠 How does Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) support a growing attack surface? 🤔 As your business adopts new technologies and expands its digital footprint, your attack surface grows, making it more challenging to monitor and manage. Solutions like external attack surface management (EASM) and cloud security posture management (CSPM) help, but they can still leave gaps. Enter CAASM. By compiling and analyzing data from across your enterprise, CAASM provides a holistic view of your assets, eliminates duplicate data, and prioritizes potential exposures — without the hassle of deploying agents. 🚀 Discover how CAASM can support your growing attack surface.
