Summer Activities!☀️ In conjunction with Three Rivers Adaptive Sports (TRAS), individuals we serve in Fairview, PA, have the opportunity each July to participate in an adaptive water ski program. The program, in its 35th year, provides t-shirts, breakfast, lunch, theme activities, and all water activities each day. It is a fun filled day that encourages engagement, physical activity, comradery, sportsmanship, networking, and experiences of a lifetime!

How fun! Our NeuroRestorative Fairview, PA, program hosted its annual Cruise-In of classic cars at the day program. The afternoon was filled with entertainment featuring live music by the band “Jam Starrs," a food and dessert truck, a basket raffle, and, of course, a display of classic cars. The proceeds benefit the program activity fund for the people we serve, which provides opportunities for them to attend outings and events in the community. NeuroRestorative Fairview, PA, is a residential facility with a small outpatient component, serving individuals who have sustained a traumatic brain injury and are unable to live independently in the community due to physical, cognitive, or behavioral challenges. We are committed to providing opportunities for individuals to engage in social outings, community events, and pre-work programs. Individuals we are lucky enough to serve consider NeuroRestorative to be their home, and activities such as the Cruise-In give them the opportunity to entertain family, friends, and the outside community.

Another successful ribbon cutting ceremony was celebrated for our members, NeuroRestorative! NeuroRestorative provide rehabilitation services to adults with traumatic brain injury as well as other neurological challenges, including those resulting from anoxia, stroke, aneurysm, encephalopathy, brain tumor and seizure disorders. In addition, we are a contracted provider with the Veterans Healthcare Administration Assisted Living Pilot Program for Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury. Our NeuroRestorative San Antonio Texas program hosted an induction celebration event and open house in partnership with the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce on August 8th. This was a great opportunity for our program staff to connect with the local community and tour our program, hear from Tina Egelston (individual served at our program), network, and win some awesome prizes! NeuroRestorative San Antonio provides a wide range of active rehabilitation and other supports for people of all ages with brain injury and other neurological challenges in outpatient settings.
