The Nevada Afterschool Network, part of the 50 State Afterschool Network, provides opportunities for cooperative partnerships and access for all to quality out-of-school-time programs in Nevada. This includes quality technical support, professional development, sustainable funding and advocacy for out-of-school-time programs at the local, regional, and state level. To achieve these goals, the Network relies on strong partnerships with local programs, state agencies, community stakeholders, and families.

Launched in October 2000, Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families and communities.
