Dr. Frederick Steinmann, Director of the University Center for Economic Development and Principal Investigator of the University of Nevada, Reno's "Nevada Lithium Batteries and Other EV Materials" Regional Technology and Innovation Hub project, will be presenting at the 2024 Advanced Automotive Battery Conference scheduled December 10 through December 12, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Steinmann will be presenting an overview of the Nevada Tech Hub, including an overview of the recently announced $21.5 million award from the U.S. Economic Development Administration as part of the University's Phase 2 application. This award will fund both the Workforce Development component project and the Nevada Native Nations Center component project, along with a yearly analysis of the supply chain and value network of the state's emerging lithium batteries, critical elements, and other EV materials industry sector. #edatechhub #EDAUnivCenter
