Today’s tip for nurses: Invest in comfortable shoes. 👟 During a 12 hour shift, nurses walk an average of 5 miles…which means that in 5 shifts, nurses walk a marathon! To keep yourself feeling your best, comfortable shoes are crucial. Take care of yourselves, too, nurses! #nehhs #nursingtip #nursesofnewengland #nursesofboston

Congratulations to Brianna Witman- Clark the raffle winner from the job fair at St. Joseph School of Nursing. "I work at Lawrence General as an emergency trauma technician. I am going to nursing school to become a registered nurse. I fell in love with working and caring for patients who may be at the lowest or highest points of their clinical care. I find it rewarding to reassure patients that they are in the right place with the right people. I look forward to starting my career as a nurse. The nursing program at St. Joseph's has prepared me well, as the program offers small class sizes, extra study groups, and open communication with the professors. On the first day of school, I met amazing people and made lifelong nursing friends. I can’t wait to see what is to come for me and all my classmates."
