Last week at 2301 JFK Boulevard, New Hudson Facades and Core Installation completed the installation of the Tower Phase of this 23-story project. This consisted of 21 floors of Starter Sills, Head Tracks, Decorative slab covers, and Window Wall units. The next phase of installation (Phase 1) is going to launch this fall of 2024. Phase 1 is the Storefront, levels 1 and 2, which is comprised of a residential window wall section on the west elevation of the building and 20-ft tall, unitized curtain wall on the east portion of the building. This week, the NHF team met with Related Companies for a tour of our facility and to see the start of assembly for these massive 10’ x 20’ units on the 20 Hudson Yards project! New Hudson Facades had the opportunity to sponsor Bradley University’s Resume Critique Day on Friday, September 13th. By participating in this event, it allowed students the opportunity to hone their resume formats, practice interview questions and feel prepared for the career fair coming up this Thursday. NHF also presented an Information Session after the Resume Critique event to share the world of Curtain Wall with the Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering students.
