A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Decennial Accreditation Team We extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated team who visited Community High School for its decennial accreditation. Chaired by Dr. David Lowry (retired Head of The Elisabeth Morrow School), and co-chaired by Josephine Iacuzzo Diemond, Ed.D. (Head of The Winston School of Short Hills ) -- the team, including Varsay Lewis (Montclair Kimberley Academy), Rose Neubert (retired CFO Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart), Margery Schiesswohl (Gill St. Bernard's School), and Liav Shapiro (Solomon Schechter Day School) --- witnessed firsthand the powerful bonds and compassionate care that the faculty, staff, and administration extend to their students at CHS. #CommunityHighSchool #Education #NJIndependentSchools

Accreditation Committee Evolves into the Commission on Accreditation NJAIS is thrilled to announce a significant milestone! The Accreditation Committee has officially been renamed the Commission on Accreditation. According to Dr. Jennifer Galambos, President of the NJAIS Board of Trustees and Head of Kent Place School, "This name change more aptly describes the scope and responsibilities of this committee." The Commission, guided by the leadership of co-chairs Sergio Alati (Head of Stevens Cooperative School) and @Peter Quinn (Head of The The Peddie School), oversees a broad range of accreditation and school improvement initiatives, ensuring that our member schools continue to uphold the highest standards of excellence in independent school education. #NJAIS #Accreditation #SchoolImprovement #NJIndependentSchools

On the Road Again! Great to see NJAIS Executive Director Dr. Kevin J Ruth connecting with member school leaders across the state. Today he traveled to @Community High School in Teaneck, and engaged in a productive dialogue with Executive Director Scott Parisi. Dr. Ruth is visiting member schools to gather first-hand feedback on the services, resources, and support that they need and desire. By understanding their unique challenges and aspirations, and then tailoring its resources, NJAIS is positioned to help schools drive continuous positive change. #NJAIS #Education #SchoolLeadership #SchoolCommunity #NJIndependentSchools

We are deeply grateful for the leadership of Dr. John Griffith (Team Chair and Head of Ranney School), Renée Price (Co-Chair and Assistant Head of Princeton Day School), and Dr. James Palmieri, Ed.D., CAE (NBOA: Business Leadership for Independent Schools Executive Vice President). Can one have *too many* photos in one post? Kevin J Ruth couldn't help himself, when he visited Newark Academy on Tuesday. Kevin spent time with Head of School Donald Austin, and Head-Elect Tom Ashburn...and was elated to catch up with the other trio you see here: Sam Goldfischer (CFO), Evan Nisenson (Director of Alumni Relations & Giving), and Erica Berger (Associate Director of Advancement). Fun fact: Evan is Kevin's former French student at NA, and Erica is his former Latin student at Tower Hill School. NJAIS is grateful to Sam for his stalwart service on two NJAIS committees! Best of luck to Don and Tom! National Association of Independent Schools NBOA: Business Leadership for Independent Schools
