As one of our team member perks, we offer a 30-day sabbatical after five years of employment with NLA. This is a time for team members to relax, refresh, regroup, and, most importantly, unplug from work. Tiffany, our Operations Leader, recently turned her sabbatical into an epic series of trips. Starting with a solo hike, she explored Taum Sauk Mountain (the highest point in MO), Elephant Rock State Park, and Johnson’s Shut-Ins. She took two trips to Lake of the Ozarks with her family. And finally, she spent five days exploring the coastline and waterfalls of the Pacific Northwest. Here’s her biggest takeaway from her time off: “Life is not a race! This time off was a great time to reflect and embrace the slow moments, take breaks when they are needed, and appreciate the journey as it unfolds. It's not about being the best or the fastest, it's about being present, enjoying the adventure, and finding peace in the simple things.
