Today I returned home from the beautiful Atlanta, GA, where I attended the AICPA/CPA SOCIETY EXECUTIVES ASSOCIATION CPASEA Leadership Conference with one of the New Mexico Society of CPAs #woman #leaders & Chair Elect Tamara Beall, CPA. In this training we learned about one another’s personalities and our individual working styles, to help us better understand how we will work best #together during her term!! - it was a GREAT session! Following the Leadership Conference, Tamara and I were joined by two more of New Mexico’s finest #women #leaders, Mandy Funchess, CPA and Corrine Zajac-Clarkson, CPA, to attend AICPAs Fall Meeting of Council. This meeting was full of many important updates, making new connections, and a HUGE celebration to honor Barry Melancon, CPA, CGMA on his retirement from AICPA after 30 years of amazing #leadership & #dedication to the #CPA profession!
