We are happy to announce that the applications for all levels will open on Tuesday, September 3rd! Since its inception, NOTCF has awarded over 1,400 grants totaling more than $12.8 million. NOTCF Grants Program - 2024 Cycle 3 There is one (1) application cycle remaining in 2024. The intake day will be September 3, 2024. Submit your application via our website: www.notcf.com/grants. The grant portal will be open for 24 hours from 12:00 AM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, and will remain open until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Effective June 1, 2024, all grant applications must be submitted 120 days or more before the event/project begins. Please note, we do not reserve applicant's uploaded documents from previous applications for future submissions. Repeat applicants must resubmit all required documentation each time a new application is submitted. For budget purposes, each level will have a limit to the number of applications approved. Maximum applications approved for Cycle 3: Level 1 Mini-Grant ($1 - $2500): up to 100 applications (70 independently submitted applications and 30 applications with an appointment) Level 2 ($2,501 - $9,999): up to 23 applications Level 3 ($10,000 - $100,000): up to 18 applications For more details regarding our Grants Program process, please visit the Grants page of our website. Applications for all level NOTCF grants will open Tuesday, September 3rd! What you need to apply: If the applicant received previous funding from NOTCF, a Performance Report must be submitted before the new application is submitted. Please request the Performance Report link from The Grants Program Team by emailing us at grants@notcf.com. All applicants must submit a copy of the following documents for their organization or their fiscal agent: - Articles of Incorporation (non-profit organizations) or Articles of Organization (for-profit entities) - IRS letter establishing an Employer Identification Number (EIN) - W9 with EIN (not a Social Security Number) - Occupational License or the Occupational License Application Summary (this is ONLY required if your organization is an LLC or for-profit entity in the City of New Orleans). If you are using a NOTCF fiscal agent, there will be an opportunity to choose one within the application form. - All Level 1 Mini-Grant applicants must submit a valid, unexpired, government-issued form of identification (Driver’s License, State ID, School ID, Passport, etc.). -If the applicant is a minor (under 18 years old), you must submit a valid form of identification (as described above) for the parent/guardian and at least one (1) of the documents listed below for the minor: School Profile Page with Picture of Minor School or State ID Birth Certificate - All applicants must submit an itemized budget listing supplies and their costs. If applying as a traditional cultural practitioner, the applicant must submit at least one (1) most recent photo of themselves in a suit or regalia without a mask, crown, or anything covering the applicant’s face.
