Ta-da! Our fourth annual Observability Forecast report is out now. We surveyed 1,700 tech professionals to explore their use of observability tools and their outlook on the future of observability. Here are some key findings: ⏲️ The median annual downtime from high-impact outages is 77 hours, with an hourly cost of up to US $1.9M. 🛠️ Engineering teams devote 30% of their time addressing interruptions (or 12 hours out of a 40-hour work week). 🧑💻 87% of respondents indicated at least one positive business outcome from observability best practices. 🤖 The adoption of AI technologies is a top strategy driving the need for observability (41%).
