BRIDGING GENERATIONS THROUGH EDUCATION.

About us

OUR BEGINNING: Raymiro David Gomez-Galiano founded the NewColorsProject on May 21st, 2020, which aimed to spotlight undocumented individuals positively impacting their communities. By August 19th, 2020, Mr. Gomez-Galiano had formalized the project, establishing it as a community organization. Under its umbrella, a virtual English academy called Aprende Inglés was launched, catering to over 50 Spanish-speaking adults. By November 17th, 2020, the NewColorsProject gained federal recognition as a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. OUR MISSION: To cultivate a transformative educational space where the potential of youth flourishes, and familial connections are re-ignited. PROBLEM WORTH SOLVING: The main issue is limited access to educational resources and opportunities, which serves as a barrier for the youth and prevents families from escaping the cycle of limited opportunities. The problem arises from the lack of comprehensive support systems that aim to empower the next generation by offering educational and financial opportunities. This unmet need is a critical obstacle that needs to be addressed to create a brighter future for the youth and their families. OUR SOLUTION: The NewColorsProject offers a transformative educational space to empower the youth and re-ignite familial connections. The organization provides immersive college-prep workshops, college campus and local business field trips, and resume support for career readiness. Additionally, English tutoring services are offered to enhance language proficiency, ensuring holistic support for the community. OUR PROMISE: The NewColorsProject is dedicated to collaborating with young people to build healthier communities and a just society for everyone. No matter who they are or where they come from, everyone receives the support they require when they need it to achieve their full potential in the future.
