Happy #NationalFarmersDay! Join us in celebrating the hard work, dedication, and resilience of the farmers who put food on our tables and care for the land. New England Dairy is a non-profit nutrition education and promotion organization founded, funded, and led by dairy farmers. These farmers are committed to producing healthy products and caring for their cows, the land, and their communities. We are proud to represent the 800+ farm families across our region to drive sales and build trust in dairy. Thank you to all of our New England dairy farmers and agricultural heroes.

Dairy farmers are a vital part of our New England community. Not only do they supply us with fresh, nutritious dairy products, but they also understand the importance of school meals. With a long-standing commitment to supporting these programs through grants and other resources, our local farmers play a crucial role in nourishing the next generation. Congratulations to West Shore Middle School in Milford, CT for receiving this milk cooler through the grant program to keep milk cold for their students! Milk tastes best when kept at the right temperature, ensuring kids enjoy its optimal flavor and all the essential nutrients it offers.

September is #HungerActionMonth. Expanding on existing efforts is a growing movement to promote and prioritize not just any food but nutritious food sources—including dairy—for food insecure populations. Early childhood nutrition is critical for healthy growth and development.
