Hey, Mark here. We've been involved in helping agencies market since ‘95. And I've been the person in charge of sales for the past 20 years. It's been my job to do everything we can to take on people that we believe we can help the most. We're permanently locked into a direct results-based ROI sort of calculation with our clients. And that's intense. It's hard, but it's deeply rewarding because we're doing real, measurable work and we love it. Because we’re in the arena, we get to see patterns. The latest pattern we’ve noticed is that there are two important factors that will decide whether or not your marketing is effective: your positioning and speed to market. In a post last week we offered that AI-generated thought leadership content can, in fact, be quality. So if AI can produce good content, where does that leave writers? We're glad you asked. Take it from one of our own senior writers, Maria Prince: "AI is here. We can either adapt and use the technology, or fall behind.  What a tired sentiment, right? I’m annoyed at myself for writing it. And yet…it’s true. But I promise I’m coming at this from an angle you’re not used to. See, I’m a writer. A human writer. A human marketing writer. One who really wanted to sit here and tell you AI is useless, dumb. That it’s not helpful in creative processes. In fact, based on my early experiences with other tools, I would have told you just that." Read more from Maria on how our new content tool is worthy to assist marketing writers, content strategists, as well as paid and email strategist alike. https://shorturl.at/0isQe

AI tools like ChatGPT are great researchers. But great writers? Not so much. If you've bent over backward prompting the likes of ChatGPT to craft a publish-ready piece of thought leadership only to throw your hands up in frustration at its poor quality, hello and welcome. You're in good company. In this video, CEO Mark O'Brien and director of products John Nugent dig into the question you're rightfully skeptical about: Can AI Content Be Extraordinary? (Spoiler alert: Based on what you've tried out, you might be surprised!) Catch Mark & John in our webinar series that covers what AI can and can't do to give your agency a leg up in creating market-ready content. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/3AueQKh

What an incredible time Mark O'Brien and I had at this year’s Mirren Live event in NYC. I was thrilled to speak on Day 1 and to learn from so many other incredible speakers throughout the event, including David C. Baker, Matt Quinn, and Tim Williams. Mark and Dave Currie also hosted a lively roundtable discussion on Day 2 that surfaced a lot of interesting perspectives and debate. The whole thing was a ton of fun. But perhaps most impressive of all was the way the Mirren team made this event flow flawlessly while making the whole thing look EASY! Brent Hodgins, Laura Matthews, Quinn Embrey, Jerry May, Sharon Honjiyo, and Madeline Kraft: you all are absolute PROS at what you do. As an attendee, I was able to navigate to all my sessions easily, they started and ended on time, I saw zero(!) AV issues, and enjoyed a perfect balance of content and networking time. As a speaker, I felt completely taken care of. I always had someone thinking five steps ahead about what I needed and where I needed to be. I honestly could not be more impressed with how you all ran this event and I know that doesn’t happen by accident. Thank you!
