A massive problem NexHealth solves is unlocking data held in legacy health record systems and making it accessible to doctors, patients, and developers. Before Alamin Uddin founded NexHealth, he worked at an independent doctor’s office in New York. He experienced firsthand the wasted time spent calling patients, chasing collections, and filling out paperwork. What he found was that it was nearly impossible to integrate with any of the health record systems. Their APIs were too slow and limited. The existing roads built by health record systems couldn't support doctors’ needs like: 1. Online scheduling that appears instantly in the office calendar, not in hours. 2. Digital forms that auto-populate medical history directly into the family file 3. Automated reminders by appointment type So Al had to make a decision: listen to the EHRs or listen to our customers. That’s why we built the NexHealth Synchronizer™; it was the only way to create a platform that practices and patients love without needing to partner with the EHRs. Today, the NexHealth Synchronizer is used by thousands of practices and tech companies like Quip and Smile Direct Club, and that’s why NexHealth is valued at $1 billion. My favorite week of the quarter is not closing week (even though I love our customers), but product release week! Last week, we released game changing products that not only reset customer expectations, but what it means to be a Patient Experience Platform. ✅ NexHealth Verification: ever booked a visit only to find out your provider or insurance doesn't cover it? A process that used to be hours of manual time and cause heartburn for both patients and payers is now fully automated. NexHealth will automatically verify eligibility of all patients before they even come into the office. 💳 NexHealth Payments: ever received a statement in the mail about a balance you have to pay for a visit that you may not even remember? A process that used to be hours of manual time for providers and a confusing experience for patients with analog paper bills is now fully automated. NexHealth will not only text you the right balance, but also automate the entire back office process for your providers. 📜 NexHealth Kiosk: ever walk into an office, grab a (likely greasy) pen, scribble your name on a clip board, get handed a stack of paper to fill out, and sit in the waiting area 20+ mins to see your provider?
