Nexstar announced that it has agreed to acquire the assets of WBNX-TV/TV55 in Cleveland, Ohio, from the Winston Broadcasting Company. The acquisition will create a duopoly for Nexstar in the nation’s 19th largest television market, where the company already owns and operates WJW-TV (FOX). WBNX-TV is currently an independent television station and will, under Nexstar’s ownership, become an affiliate of The CW Network on Sept. 1, 2025. https://lnkd.in/ezPbPgdt

Today they let me out of the station for a couple hours which is not normal for me! I got to participate in "Mission Tomorrow" an interactive career expo for 8th graders in the Richmond area. Spoke with some really cool kids got to talk television and that not all the jobs are infront of a camera.

Happy 75th Birthday, WDAF-TV FOX4! On October 16th, 1949, WDAF aired its first official broadcast. It was the first station in the Kansas City market and second in all of Missouri.
