🍂 pyrolytic 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 of agricultural leavings! Under this title, we had the pleasure to introduce a group of interested prospective farmers to the topic of pyrolytic recycling of biomass 👨🌾 by showing them how our solutions #PyroDry and #PyroPower can tackle the challanges of modern agriculture and contribute to a #circulareconomy♻. A strong focus was placed not only on the technology, but also on the possibilities of agricultural use of #biochar, legal framework conditions and project issues. 💥 We are pleased to announce that Carbonfuture and pyrolysis equipment manufacturer Next Generation Elements GmbH (NGE) are entering a partnership to grow their operations, facilitate large-scale production of certified #biochar, and create climate impact. 🤝    Carbonfuture and NGE are currently collaborating on a carbon removal project operated by Ökologische Klärschlammverwertung Offenhausen (ÖKT). NGE’s innovative equipment enables the pyrolysis of forest residues, utilizing the generated heat to dry local sewage sludge. Carbonfuture MRV+ ensures that all of these activities in the carbon removal journey are tracked granularly; resulting carbon removal credits will be sold through the Carbonfuture Marketplace - 700t of CO2e until the end of this year.    🔄 This project exemplifies optimized circularity, not only converting waste materials into carbon-preserving biochar but also maximizing the utilization of the heat generated in the process.     🔍 About Next Generation Elements GmbH  The company was founded in 2017 to find customized solutions for the recycling of residual materials from industry and municipalities. Under the umbrella of Next Generation Holding, NGE focuses on the planning, development, and realization of pyrolysis plants. Over the last few years, their prototype has been further developed into a directly heated pyrolysis reactor for utilizing biogenic input materials. This week we had the pleasure of visiting Greiner Packaging in Kremsmünster to see the production process live.   Sustainably stylish and all in red - in keeping with Greiner, we were able to dive deep into the production processes and experience how our joint efforts are shaping a greener future.   As part of the GPOIL project, we are working on converting low-grade plastic waste into valuable new materials through chemical recycling.   Our laboratory plant is already delivering exciting results that are helping us to efficiently return plastics to the cycle.
