Meet Zachary Lindemann. Zach first joined NEXT/NOW in 2017, contributing his talents across a wide range of projects, from immersive experience centers to gamified pop-ups. Now, as our Senior Motion Designer, he continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible, creating visuals that elevate every environment they touch. In Zach’s own words, "Animation is what brings physical spaces alive and transforms them into experiences." We’re proud to have him as part of the team and look forward to the groundbreaking work ahead.

Working with JBG SMITH on their HQ in Washington, D.C., our team had the privilege of creating dynamic LED content that goes beyond traditional placemaking. By integrating live data feeds from ongoing construction sites, the visuals adapt and evolve, offering a unique narrative that reflects the company’s impact in real time. The use of thoughtful technology in this way can create a deeper connection with visitors, transforming screens into more than just a backdrop, but experiences that will foster a new appreciation for the company’s vision and work.

Accessibility in design is paramount. Located in the lobby of Boston Children's Hospital, this 16’ x 16’ LED installation places guests at the center of its story. With interactivity that can be shared regardless of age, size, or ability, the experience gives families a moment of connection and excitement amidst what can be an otherwise challenging environment. We love seeing our employees share their passion for immersive design beyond the workplace. Earlier this month, Next/Now's Designer & Marketing Strategist, Mitch Tapia, spoke with AIGA Chicago about his experience in the space-- sharing insights, opportunities, and advice with his peers. Mitch is an incredible asset to our team, developing and designing our promotional content for social media and our website.

Taking a holistic approach to guest experiences, we reimagined a wayfinding framework for the Smithsonian that begins before you even step foot on campus. Engaging with guests ahead of their visit can help institutions increase interest, build excitement, and improve ease of experience down the road.
